Colin Queen: From Open-Wheel Star to Sports Car Contender

Colin Queen has established himself as one of the brightest American talents in motorsport, showcasing exceptional speed, racecraft, and adaptability. After a strong campaign in the 2024 GB3 Championship with the renowned Fortec Motorsport, Colin is now set to take on an exciting new challenge—debuting in sports car racing with ANSA Motorsports in the prestigious 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series.

The 20-year-old has spent over a decade climbing the ranks of open-wheel racing, earning multiple accolades along the way. In 2022, he finished as vice-champion in the UK’s fiercely competitive Formula Ford Championship, securing the coveted 'Triple Crown' in the same season. His rookie GB4 season saw him claim nine podium finishes, proving his ability to compete at the sharp end of the grid.

His consistent front-running performances caught the attention of MSV, the promoter of GB4, and at the end of 2022, he was selected over two other top talents to receive a £20,000 scholarship toward his 2023 racing campaign. This led him to join Fortec Motorsport, a team renowned for developing future stars—including Charles Leclerc, Daniel Ricciardo, Juan Pablo Montoya, Heikki Kovalainen, and Indy 500 winner Marcus Ericsson.

Now, as he embarks on his next chapter in sports car racing, Colin aims to bring his signature speed and precision to endurance racing, competing on some of the world’s most iconic circuits in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series. With a new challenge ahead, he is ready to make his mark in the world of GT racing.
